Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemns Russia’s continued attacks
Ukraine: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine once again denounced Russia’s ceaseless assaults, highlighting the catastrophic damage caused by its strikes on Ukrainian cities.
He also emphasized the need for “strength” against Russian terror by highlighting the events of St. Nicholas Day.
On Friday, Zelenskyy shared a message on X that said, “Russia’s words mean nothing, but their bombs and missiles speak volumes.”
“Aerial bombs struck a service station in Zaporizhzhia on the evening of St. Nicholas Day, striking automobiles with people inside. There are now four known injured individuals needing medical attention. Sadly, there are nine names on the list of deceased. A missile attack on a typical city building in Kryvyi Rih killed two persons and injured seventeen others. The message goes on to say, “And these are just two Russian attacks on two Ukrainian cities in a single day.”
The president of Ukraine also attacked Russian President Vladimir Putin, claiming that he is not interested in “real peace.”
“The fact that Russia has carried out thousands of these attacks throughout this conflict makes it very evident that Putin does not want true peace; rather, he wants the right to use bombs, missiles, and all other types of aggression against any nation. We can only fight this with power.
Furthermore, true peace can only be achieved by force. I express my gratitude to everyone helping Ukraine in its endeavors. Zelenskyy said on X, “May the memory of all those who have been victims of Russian terror be eternal.”
The Ukrainian president also expressed gratitude to its allies for supplying the Peklo drone missile the day before.
“The “Peklo” (Hell) drone missile is our Ukrainian weapon with proven combat effectiveness,” Zelenskyy said in a post on X. Our defense forces received the first shipment today. Now, increasing production and deployment is the goal.
“I am grateful to everyone involved in our defense production, whose contribution helps Ukraine fight,” said the message.
