Tony Todd, veteran big screen and television actor, dies at 69
Actor Tony Todd, who was most known for his horror movies, has away at the age of 69. On November 6, Todd passed away at home in Los Angeles. His cause of death has not yet been determined.
Todd’s most famous role was that of the murderer in Candyman, which he reprised in the 2021 follow-up. Among many other roles, he starred in the military drama Platoon and the horror series Final Destination.
Over 240 films and a four-decade TV career are among Todd’s acting credentials.
Todd, who was born on December 4, 1954, in Washington, DC, USA, often experimented with television while working as a big-screen actor. 21 Jump Street, Night Court, MacGyver, Matlock, Jake and the Fatman, Law & Order, The X-Files, NYPD Blue, Beverly Hills 90210, Xena: Warrior Princesses and Murder, She Wrote, and Star Trek: The Next Generation are just a few of his more well-known TV roles.
