The Trump family is back in the spotlight
Barron was born on March 20, 2006, to Donald and Melania Trump. He is the youngest of Trump’s children. Notably, Trump himself selected Barron’s name. Trump said on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he had “always loved the name” but was hesitant to use it. He thought about changing his mind at the last minute when he proposed it to Melania, but she persisted, saying, “You can’t take it away! Since he’s been in my tummy, I’ve called him Barron, and you can’t take it away!
After starting his schooling at New York’s Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School, Barron moved to Potomac, Maryland’s St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. Melania and Barron remained in Manhattan when Trump took office in January 2017 so Barron could finish his academic year.
Barron was reportedly reluctant to leave New York and his life there in order to go to the White House to be with his family. Barron entered in Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, at the conclusion of his father’s tenure in 2021, and he graduated with the class of 2024.
Barron mostly avoided the media limelight throughout Donald Trump’s administration, while his older children assumed prominent positions. He did, however, make a rare appearance at an electoral rally with his father in July 2024. Barron, who is now a first-year student at NYU’s Stern School of Business, has helped introduce his 78-year-old father to podcasts, according to media. Trump’s transition from conventional campaign tactics and television appearances to a podcast-focused approach has improved his ability to engage younger people.
