South Korean Awards Ceremony: Singaporean Singer Tanya Chua wins Best Original Song award
South Korean Awards Ceremony: Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards, a South Korean awards event, held its sixth edition on Sunday, October 6, at the Busan Cinema Center. The competition, which is run by the Busan International Film Festival, honors Asian television, the internet, and over-the-top programming.
The 2024 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards included a number of winners from countries like China, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and South Korea and were presented by actress Kang Ki-young of South Korea and Tiffany Young of Girls’ Generation.

Veteran Singaporean singer Tanya Chua, who resides in Taiwan, was honored that evening. Her song Learn To Live Again, which was used as the closing theme for the Taiwanese television series Imperfect Us, got the best original song award.
Songs from the Thai series Only Friends, the South Korean drama Lovely Runner, and the Indian serial Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar competed against Learn to Live Again.
With five nominations, Imperfect Us was the show to beat going into the Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards 2024. Apart from Tanya’s category, the program also won for Ariel Lin’s best lead actress.
Other wins on Sunday were Coupang Play’s Boyhood, which won best OTT original, and Wong Kar-wai’s Blossoms Shanghai, which took up the best creative award.
