President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine is ready to sign a mineral agreement with the United States
Kyiv: Ukraine is “ready to sign” a minerals deal with the United States, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who called it the “first step toward security guarantees.”
“We are prepared to sign the minerals agreement, and it will be the first step toward security guarantees,” he stated in a post he shared on X. However, it’s insufficient, and we must more.”

“Ukraine is at risk from a truce that lacks security assurances. The Ukrainian people must understand that America is on our side after three years of conflict,” he said.
World leaders showed their support for Ukrainian President Zelenskyy by pledging to do more to assist his country, a day after Zelenskyy’s heated argument with US President Donald Trump at the White House and the cancellation of his visit to Washington on Friday (local time).

He also had a meeting with King Charles III of Britain earlier in the day at Sandringham House.
In an X post, he thanked the crowd, writing, “I am grateful to His Majesty King Charles III.”
In order to create a coordinated action plan for bringing the conflict to a fair and sustainable conclusion, he also met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
