NCS Report: Tajikistan hit by a 4.5 magnitude earthquake

Dushanbe: According to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS), Tajikistan was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 early on Thursday.

According to the NCS, the earthquake happened at 5:44 a.m. Indian Standard Time (IST).

At latitude 38.20 N and longitude 72.89 E, the earthquake was detected 130 kilometers below the surface.

The National Center for Seismology shared a message on X that said, “EQ of M: 4.5, On: 26/12/2024 05:44:59 IST, Lat: 38.20 N, Long: 72.89 E, Depth: 130 Km, Location: Tajikistan.”
