“Many years ago, the Indian and Israeli governments collaborated to establish the concept of the Center of Excellence. Speaking to the media, Azar stated, “The Indian government has made investments in the construction of contemporary nursery irrigation systems here, which essentially give farmers the chance to take advantage of subsidized seedlings and technology demonstrations so that they can implement it in the fields and increase the yield.”

Thus, the Telangana government’s Agriculture Ministry established this Center of Excellence, which is expertly run.In India, there are 32 Centers of Excellence in operation. It has come to our attention today that the Center of Excellence here is considering renovations. We will talk about this with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Government of India. In Telangana, there is also interest in establishing a second center of excellence for beekeeping and mango cultivation.

Therefore, we’ll see what we can do about it. Thus, I’m delighted to come here with my spouse,” the Israeli ambassador said.
Azar paid Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy a courtesy visit at his Jubilee Hills home on Thursday.

“Very impressed by the advanced level of development in Telangana!” said Azar in a post on X. We appreciate the warm welcome, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. We’ll collaborate to strengthen collaboration in the areas of infrastructure, innovation, and water.”

Azar has previously lauded India’s market and expansion prospects. In an interview with ANI on November 8, Azar highlighted how India is a desirable location for Israeli businesses looking to develop and sell technology because of its large domestic market and its potential to reach third countries, especially in the US and Europe.

“Israel is quite popular in the Indian market for a number of reasons. Firstly, due to the fact that India is a very young and dynamic market. Second, India has advantages over other countries, including a sizable domestic market and the opportunity to jointly access third markets, particularly in the US and Europe.

Numerous Israeli businesses are attempting to collaborate in order to create technology jointly, as well as to commercialize them, produce them in India, and sell them. And as we work to increase our technology exports and technological strength globally, this is a really significant undertaking for us,” he added.
