Euphoria star Eric Dane reveals he was diagnosed with rare ALS disease
Washington, DC: According to People, Euphoria actor Eric Dane said that he was given a diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a rare degenerative illness.

Dane shocked his followers by disclosing a startling health disclosure in an interview with People. After receiving an ALS diagnosis, the Euphoria actor thanked his family for helping him through this “next chapter” of his life.
“I have been diagnosed with ALS,” he talks about. According to People, Dane went on to say, “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”
Georgia Geraldine, 13, and Billie Beatrice, 15, are the couple’s two daughters. The 52-year-old actor is married to Rebecca Gayheart.
Additionally, Dane promised his fans that he would be going back to the Euphoria sets to film the third instalment of the series. Additionally, he asked his followers and the public to respect his family’s privacy at this time of his life.
“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria next week,” he told People magazine. “I kindly ask that you give my family and me privacy during this time,” said Dane.
Dane, who currently plays Cal Jacobs in the popular HBO series Euphoria, is set to start filming season 3 of the programme on April 14, according to People.
