Elon Musk faces the danger of assassination? “He’s a CEO” alert is flagged by social media users
American: A post on X that calls for the “assassination” of entrepreneur Elon Musk has been noticed by a number of social media users. After a user by the name of Bill Shea uploaded a post mentioning Musk’s remarks on a government funding bill, the commotion began.
A screenshot from the account “Republicans Against Trump” was included in Shea’s tweet. It said, “Elon Musk is literally everything MAGA Republicans accused George Soros of doing.”
There was a commotion when Shea shared the post and said that people should remember that Musk is the CEO of many businesses.
Remember that Musk is the CEO of many firms, people. He is a CEO, I reiterate. “You can use that information however you like,” he wrote.
Shea was accused of inciting violence against the Tesla CEO by a number of other social media users. Shea canceled his account when the tweet gained widespread attention.
The topic stems from the murder of Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, which sparked a discussion about mistrust of business executives.
Luigi Mangione, 26, is accused of killing Brian Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel before a business meeting. He was caught after a five-day search.
His murder sparked a wave of rage among Americans who were having difficulty affording and obtaining medical care.
According to a survey conducted by Emerson College, 41% of young people believe that Luigi Mangione’s reported acts were “acceptable.” Mangione murdering Thompson was deemed “somewhat acceptable” by 24% of US voters aged 18 to 29 and “completely acceptable” by 17%.
Significant party differences were also shown by the study, with 22% of Democrats believing the killer’s acts were appropriate, compared to just 2% of Republicans and 16% of independents.
