Donald Trump compares hostages released by Hamas to Holocaust survivors
Washington, DC: According to a video released by the White House on Monday, US President Donald Trump likened the freed prisoners to Holocaust survivors.

“Hamas has been a disaster,” US President Donald Trump said in the video. I must add that when I saw the captives return today, they seemed to be Holocaust survivors. They were in terrible shape. They were malnourished.
“How much longer can we take that when I watch that?” Trump went on to say. They keep creeping in, and I know we have an agreement where we’re meant to get, but they’re in terrible form. They have endured terrible, vicious treatment. Although they were somewhat better off, even the ones who got out early had terrible mental treatment. Who could tolerate that? We will eventually run out of patience, you know. In the spectacle I saw today, malnourished individuals who seem to have gone without food for a month emerge from helicopters and aircraft. There’s no justification for it.
“I don’t know how much longer we can take it,” Trump said in his speech. I’m not sure how much longer we can tolerate it. When I see individuals who were in good health just a few years ago, they appear to have aged by twenty-five decades. They really have the same appearance as the old photos of Holocaust survivors. The same thing, I mean. How long we’ll take that is unknown to me.
According to CNN, the US president had earlier on Sunday discussed his ambitions for the US to rebuild Gaza, describing the war-torn territory as a “big real estate site.”
“We don’t want Hamas to return, and I believe it would be a grave error to let the Palestinians or the residents of Gaza return once again. Consider it a large piece of real estate that the United States will eventually purchase and develop—very slowly; we’re not in a hurry. As he traveled to New Orleans for the Super Bowl, Trump told reporters on Air Force One, “We’re going to bring stability to the Middle East soon,” CNN reported.
“I’m honored that you (US President Donald Trump) invited me to be the first foreign leader to visit the White House in your second term,” Netanyahu said during a joint news conference with Trump during the Israeli prime minister’s visit to the US. Your friendship and support for the Jewish state and its citizens are shown by this.
“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, you are the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House,” he said, praising Trump’s friendship and support for Israel. And for that reason, you are so highly respected by the Israelites.”
