Attended dinner as Chief Guest at Sharjah SIBF celebrating the Kingdom of Morocco
UAE: Sharjah’s ruler and Supreme Council member, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, was present at the dinner on Sunday honoring the Kingdom of Morocco as the honored guest at the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), which was held at the Al Nabooda House in the heart of Sharjah.
He was welcomed by Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), a number of high-ranking government officials, heads, and directors of government agencies, and attendees of the Sharjah International Book Fair.
The Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the visitors and attendees of the Sharjah International Book Fair in a speech during the event, describing it as a happy day. His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco greeted the ruler of Sharjah and conveyed his gratitude to Morocco for the important gifts, documents, knowledge, and legacy that Morocco had brought to Sharjah. He said that these documents had opened their eyes to things they had never seen before.
The inauguration of the Sharjah International Book Fair was a successful and joyous occasion for all of us, according to Mohammed Mahdi Bensaid, the Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco. It was characterized by outstanding planning and a sizable turnout, as we have come to anticipate from our brothers in the Emirate of Sharjah, and it continues to draw attendees and participation. For our part, we have worked tirelessly to make sure that the Kingdom of Morocco’s celebration as the honored guest is a shining example of this thriving cultural structure.”
Along with exchanging presents and commemorative plaques, the Ruler of Sharjah and the Kingdom of Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication also took group pictures.
