Women took part in a special Ganga Aarti at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj as a rehearsal for the Kumbh Mela
Prayagraj: On Wednesday, women took part in a special Ganga Aarti at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to Pradeep Pandey, a Prayagraj Teerth Purohit, the ceremony was organized to promote no boundaries in Sanatana Dharma and also functioned as a practice for the next Kumbh Mela.
“A special aarti was performed today,” Pandey told the media report. The Kumbh Mela was being practiced. The females will do Ganga Aarti, while the guys will execute Triveni Aarti.
“We hope that everyone is inspired to see these kids perform the Aarti. We want to convey the idea that Sanatana Dharma has no boundaries,” Pandey told the media report.
“Today’s Aarti was performed by the boys and the girls in coordination,” said Anushka Singh, one of the girls who participated in the Ganga Aarti on Wednesday. Everyone is invited to see this Aarti, which will be conducted daily throughout the Mahakumbh from January 11 to February 28.
Earlier, North Central Railway made particular efforts to guarantee the comfort of pilgrims coming to Prayagraj in advance of the huge Mahakumbh 2025.
Making the jump to digital, North Central Railway’s Prayagraj division has started a creative project to use contemporary technology to streamline the ticketing procedure.
At Prayagraj Junction and other strategic points, committed railway workers from the Commercial Department would be stationed during the Mahakumbh. The green jackets with the QR code printed on the back will make these employees clearly recognized.
To download the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app, pilgrims just need to scan this QR code with their smartphones. Travelers may reserve unreserved tickets using this app without having to wait in line.
By reducing congestion at train stations, this innovative project will make it easier for pilgrims to buy tickets. Millions of devotees are anticipated to attend the Mahakumbh, and the integration of digital payment alternatives into the process promises to save time and provide a hassle-free experience.
In order to help pilgrims with ticket purchases and offer the required direction, railway employees in green jackets will be positioned not only at train stations but also at other significant sites. Passengers who scan the QR code will be sent straight to the UTS app, where they may buy tickets and access other features and services.
By providing pilgrims with technological convenience and improving their experience at the greatest spiritual gathering in the world, North Central Railway’s action is in line with the goal of Digital India. It is anticipated that the cutting-edge ticketing system would make Mahakumbh 2025 not only magnificent and heavenly but also technologically advanced, guaranteeing everyone’s comfort and effectiveness.
Held once every 12 years, the Mahakumbh is set to take place in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
On January 14th (Makar Sankranti), January 29th (Mauni Amavasya), and February 3rd (Basant Panchami), the principal bathing ceremonies, called Shahi Snan (royal baths), will be held.
