While attacking both AAP and Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress candidate Alka Lamba said this
Before the Delhi Assembly Elections, Congress candidate Alka Lamba launched a vicious assault on the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, claiming that her party is the only “alternative” to address problems like crime, pollution, and governance in the nation’s capital.
Lamba, who is running against Kalkaji’s chief minister Atishi, told media that her party has the plan to combat pollution in Delhi.
“We are benefiting the state’s citizens in Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh. We are providing ladies with free bus tickets and between Rs 2000 and Rs 2,500. Their bank accounts are receiving it. “Those women will present their bank account passbooks to demonstrate that they are receiving benefits from the Telangana and Karnataka governments,” she claimed.
“Congress is a 140-year-old party that has held both opposition and leadership positions. Delhi would have been congested all around if Sheila Dikshit hadn’t built flyovers. Children and the elderly are inhaling toxic air. There will be an outbreak…Alka Lamba said, “We have a plan to combat pollution in Delhi.
According to the Congress candidate, the 2015 and 2020 elections were like a “wave,” and no one could ever win as many seats in Delhi as the AAP did.
However, as a consequence, Delhi’s air is hazardous today, and a long-term solution is required rather than a band-aid fix. Since Delhi has turned into a crime hotspot, we want a long-term solution rather than a band-aid fix. Since their CM is just temporary, they only have a short-term fix. The BJP and AAP are being targeted by anti-incumbency sentiment. “The Congress party was the only choice and will remain the Congress party,” she said.
The Delhi head Minister was referred to as a “temporary CM” by AAP head Arvind Kejriwal, who she accused of demeaning women in constitutional positions.
“I’ve been elected five times. I never imagined that someone would refer to someone holding a constitutional position as “temporary” in my thirty years in politics. She was not an ordinary guy, but Arvind Kejriwal, the former chief minister of Delhi, referred to her as the “temporary CM.”Atishi need to react to this as it is disrespectful to a woman holding a constitutional position. Lamba informed the reporters that Arvind Kejriwal made the independent decision to become the next chief minister.
Alka Lamba of the Congress is running against Atishi, the current Kalkaji seat MLA. Ramesh Bidhuri is the BJP’s candidate for the seat.
The conflict between the AAP, BJP, and Congress has intensified ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections in 2025, with all three parties accusing one another.
The dates for Delhi’s assembly elections, which are scheduled for February, should be revealed in a few days.
