West Bengal: BJP leader Arjun Singh has alleged that around 50-60 people attacked his house
North 24 Parganas: Arjun Singh, a leader of the West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has said that on Wednesday evening, a group of fifty to sixty individuals stormed his home in the North 24 Parganas area.

Singh said that the event happened in front of the police and accused them of doing nothing about it in an interview with the media report. Additionally, Singh said that two explosives were hurled at his residence. However, after the purported incident, security personnel were subsequently stationed at his residence.
“I have no idea what’s going on. Saddam, Namit Singh, and his group also launched an assault here on October 4. I was hurt by the explosives they hurled. At around 10:20 p.m. today, we heard gunshots. There were fifty to sixty people, including the police, at the site by the time we stepped outside for an inspection. Upon our return, we discovered that my home had been the target of two bombs. The other is still live ammo, and the first blast. This involves 50–60 more persons in addition to Saddam Ansari, Prem, and Namit Singh. Namit Singh is only being used as a scapegoat. No police action has been taken in response to these assaults. In front of them, this thing occurred,” the BJP leader told the media outlet.
Suvendu Adhikari, the LoP for West Bengal, visited the landslide-affected homeless households in Belgachia, Howrah, earlier on March 24. He gave 100 impacted households there tarpaulins, mosquito nets, dry food, and money support. Suvendu Adhikari claims that BJP members have been bringing prepared meals to the impacted families on the party’s behalf and that this service would go on till things return to normal.
“Because there is still insufficient drinking water in the impacted homes, we will provide them 20-liter barrels of water each. Notably, Trinamool is the area’s patriarch, the municipality is also in control of Trinamool, the local MLA is Trinamool, and most importantly, Trinamool is the state’s governing authority. However, none of them had gone to be with these vulnerable impacted individuals even four days after the occurrence. Only the BJP is supporting the impacted people in these trying times,” Suvendu Adhikari said.
