Watch: Scuffle between two people playing the roles of Ram and Ravan in Ramleela in Amroha, UP
Amroha: During a Ramleela event in the Amroha area of Uttar Pradesh, two actors portraying Lord Ram and Ravana got into an altercation on stage. The crowd saw the actor portraying Ravana shove the actor portraying Ram, and that was when it all began.
Journalist Sachin Gupta posted the video on X (previously Twitter). The actors of Lord Ram and Lakshman in the video seek to throw arrows at the guy portraying Ravana. After that, the two guys yanked each other’s hair and pummeled each other until audience members forced them apart.
The event was caught in a 36-second video. The audience was taken aback when the dramatic play that was meant to be performed turned into a real battle.
“In Amroha, UP, Ram and Ravan clashed in real life during a Ramlila performance,” said the post’s translated caption. Ram was shoved by Ravan. People came to the platform and made an appearance.
“While acting Ramlila, Mahabharata actually happened,” a user said.

“This Ravana turned out to be really powerful,” said a third user.
A user said, “Ravana defeated Rama in this.” The whole Ramayana was transferred.
