Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami presented medals to cycling medal winners under the 38th National Games
Rudrapur: The 38th National Games’ cycling medal winners were given medals by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday at the Sports Stadium Velodrome in Rudrapur. The medal winners were also congratulated by CM Dhami.

From the gallery, the Chief Minister also saw the 38th National Games track cycling competition at the Shivalik Velodrome at Manoj Sarkar Sports Stadium. After arriving at the velodrome, he rode his bike on the track and introduced himself to the players.
Following this, CM Dhami presented medals and wore a Pahadi hat to the gold medalists from the Services Sports Control Board, silver medalists from Punjab, and bronze medalists from Rajasthan in the men’s team pursuit distance 4000-meter tournament.
The players had lunch with the Chief Minister as well. He also asked the players about the accommodations that had been made for them, and they said that they were happy with them.
According to the Chief Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the 38th National Games from Dehradun on January 28. Since the day of the game’s inauguration, he said, there has been a spirit of excitement across the whole state.
The tournaments of this national game are run with the direct and indirect assistance of over 20,000 individuals.
The chief minister visits the authorities in person and often receives information from them about the plans for the contests that are being organized around the state.
The concerned authorities have been told to provide the players with whatever amenities they can.
According to the Chief Minister, the players in our state are doing well as well; so far, they have won around 33 medals across a variety of events.
According to CM Dhami, the velodrome constructed here is appreciated by the players who travel from all over the nation. Numerous multipurpose halls have also been built around the state; Tanakpur will host the rafting competition, while Chakarpur of Khatima will host the Malkhamb competition. Eleven different locations around the state are hosting sporting events. These sporting events in Uttarakhand will undoubtedly serve as motivation for our state’s young athletes, who will go on to have a successful career in sports.
According to him, the Prime Minister launched this national game, and on February 14, Home Minister Amit Shah would wrap it up in Haldwani.
Following this, CM Dhami arrived at the 46th Battalion PAC and performed puja and officially cut the ribbon to announce the start of the shotgun and skeet competition. He also practiced shotgun tap shooting. He met the players at this time and wished them luck ahead of time.
