CM Dhami posted on X, saying, “Our double-engine government has begun the winter journey under the direction of the esteemed Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. Instead of just lasting six months, the pilgrimage in Uttarakhand is now held for a full twelve months.

The action is a part of a larger plan to boost tourism in the state and encourage year-round spiritual travel. Devotees may now visit the Char Dham temples throughout the year thanks to the winter pilgrimage, which was hitherto only possible during the colder months.

“Devotees are getting a spiritual experience by visiting the winter seat of Char Dham and at the same time, in view of the winter season, the number of tourists is also increasing at various tourist places in the state,” Dhami said.

He went on to write that the project will generate a lot of jobs in the area in addition to helping religious tourism.

“Through this visionary initiative of the Prime Minister, on the one hand, travel is being conducted throughout the year in the state and on the other hand, local people are also getting new employment opportunities,” Dhami said.

In the meanwhile, CM Dhami introduced a number of digital initiatives created by the Secretariat’s NIC and Department of Information Technology.

According to the Chief Minister, ITDA and NIC have collaborated to create a number of online platforms by integrating new technology in order to address the challenges of cybersecurity and data security and to make public services more effective, quick, and inclusive in the digital age. This allows the general public to conveniently access a variety of services on a single platform, similar to All in One.

According to him, the S3WaaS (Secure, Scalable, and Sugamya Website as a Service) framework-built websites for every department would mark a significant advancement in cybersecurity.

The Chief Minister said that UIDAI’s designation of ITDA as an AUA (Authentication User Agency) and KUA (Key User Agency) in the state is crucial. After that, websites created by different state authorities, including UCC and Virtual Registry, may provide services linked to Aadhaar authentication and E-KYC.
