Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 126 newly appointed Gram Panchayat Development Officers
Dehradun: At the Mukhya Sewak Sadan, which is situated at the Chief Minister’s home, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday gave employment letters to 126 recently hired Gram Panchayat Development Officers under the Panchayati Raj Department.

Over 20,000 young people have been employed in the state’s government services within the last three and a half years.
“This day has brought a new chapter in your life,” the Chief Minister stated, congratulating each and every candidate. He expressed the expectation that the recently chosen candidates will contribute to the general development of communities by joining the Gram Panchayat, the most significant democratic entity.
“Village development is essential to the state’s overall growth. Gram Panchayat Development Officers play a critical role in rural development, according to CM Dhami.
According to the Chief Minister, the state has put into effect the strongest anti-copying legislation in the nation. “This legislation has strict penalty and fine requirements. When a diligent and honest individual achieves a position through hard work and devotion, he is able to empathize with the suffering and issues of the average person and does his duties with integrity,” he said.
According to him, the state administration is prioritizing the development of both cities and villages in order to establish Uttarakhand as the nation’s top state. The assembly has approved a measure requiring the state to have rigorous land laws.
In order for progress to reach the person at the farthest end of Uttarakhand, our agitators had dreamt of the state’s formation, CM Dhami said. To develop the state, all Uttarakhand residents should cooperate.
The chief minister exhorted everyone in Uttarakhand to cooperate in the spirit of a united state and to avoid being duped in any way. He said sternly that the government would not pardon anyone who undermines Uttarakhand’s unity, regardless of their status—whether they are ministers, MLAs, MPs, or even regular Uttarakhandis. “From today onwards, all kinds of provocative statements will be taken seriously and strict action will be taken against those who tamper with the identity of Uttarakhand,” the chief minister said.
