In order to accomplish the goals for which the Uttarakhand Unorganized Workers Social Security Board was created, he gave authorities instructions to carry out a well-organized strategy. In order to guarantee their efficient operation and allow all qualified beneficiaries to get their full benefits, he emphasized the need to consolidate several programs into a single platform.

He also directed that workers be given the benefits they are entitled to from government programs, with an emphasis on putting their needs first. The Uttarakhand Unorganized Workers Social Security Board met at the Secretariat on Wednesday and gave these directions.

According to the Chief Minister, the goal is to integrate many schemes into one and provide the most benefits to those who qualify so that the program may continue to be reviewed and stay successful. Utilizing the state’s resources more effectively requires extra caution. Workers should be able to register more easily. Additionally, workers’ children should be integrated into society and given access to the resources that are accessible to them. Additionally, workers’ skill development should be taken into consideration.

According to CM Dhami, the departments should use simple, unambiguous language when providing information to the general public. Three points should be made explicit in the PowerPoint that was used in the meetings: So far, what has been done? Why wasn’t the job done if it hasn’t been done? And how does the future plan look? He said that any recommendations made by the board members have to be included in the next plans.

Approximately 30 lakh workers are enrolled from the state of Uttarakhand, according to the conference. Of them, 13 lakh are male employees and 17 lakh are female employees. Twenty lakh workers have been validated so far.

2.5 lakh of the 20 lakh verified workers are in the construction industry, while the remaining 17.50 lakh are in other sectors. The Labor Department’s Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana has benefitted 15 e-Shram Portal registered employees. Accident insurance is provided for Rs 2 lakh. Within the PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, there are 39,567 registered workers, of whom 19,58 are men and 20,509 are women.
