Ujjain: On Friday morning, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh was present at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain for the ‘Bhasma Aarti.’.

“After coming here, people experience ultimate peace,” Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh told ANI. Individuals get absorbed in devotion. I pray that Lord Mahakal may provide the country peace and prosperity.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain hosted the Bhasma Aarti on the auspicious day of Magh Purnima. To seek Baba Mahakal’s blessings and darshan, thousands of devotees assembled.

Baba Mahakal was worshiped with Aarti, covered with Bhasma, and embellished with dried fruits. Happiness and prosperity were prayed for.

On the day of Magh Purnima, reciting Baba Mahakal’s name is regarded as a virtue.

Because he is believed to be immortal, indestructible, and beyond time, Lord Shiva is known as Mahakal.

“I came here for the first time,” a devotee stated. I started to feel sentimental. It was miraculous. In the lord’s eyes, there was power. I asked God to bless my family.

Kartik, Shravan, Vaishakh, and Maghi are regarded as the most sacred of the twelve months, according to another devotee. On earth, God makes His appearance. In hallowed locations like Maha Kumbh, devotees take holy dips. God blesses individuals who visit Mahakaleshwar and take a sacred plunge in the Shipra River.

It was ‘Magh Purnima’ when devotees bathed in the sacred Shipra River at Ram Ghat.
