Tripura CM Manik Saha expressed gratitude to Lucknow KGMU for initiating gold medal in his name for students
Agartala: After the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow established a gold award in his honor for deserving students, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha thanked the institution.
CM Manik Saha said on social media, “It was a nostalgic time for me. My alma mater, King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, has established a gold medal in my honor for deserving students who succeed in the dental sciences.
“I thank the entire KGMU fraternity for this honour,” he said.
The “Chief Minister of Tripura (Shri Manik Saha) Gold Medal” would be given to the best students each year, according to the letter from professor Ranjit Kumar Patil.
“I would like to respectfully inform you that on November 26, 2024, on the occasion of your visit to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the Faculty of Dental Sciences, your inspiration and contributions to the institution greatly impressed us,” it said.
“Following this, the Vice Chancellor of King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, announced the introduction of the” Chief Minister of Tripura (Shri Manik Saha) Gold Medal “for the postgraduate student securing the highest marks in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, to be awarded during the university’s convocation ceremony,” stated the letter.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, the governor of Tripura, said that the state is a fantastic travel destination and that its infrastructure and connections are expanding quickly. More than a year has passed since Indra Sena Reddy Nallu became the state’s governor.
In a recent statement, Nallu, who has visited even the most isolated villages and traveled across all eight districts, offered his thoughts and views on Tripura.
