Today’s Weather : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of the risk of heavy precipitation on Saturday, September 7, and issued an orange signal in four states: Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa. Delhi, the nation’s capital, is now on a yellow alert.
During the day, the Delhi-based Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted a typically overcast sky with moderate rains and thundershowers. It’s probable that wet periods will persist until September 9. On Saturday, the highest temperature is predicted to reach around 32 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature will be close to 24 degrees Celsius.
West and Central India’s weather prediction and advisories from IMD
Wet periods were predicted by the meteorological bureau for Maharashtra and Goa till September 9 and for Gujarat starting on September 7. According to IMD, there is a high probability of isolated heavy rainfall across Chhattisgarh till September 13.

“Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on 08th & 09th; Telangana on 09th & 10th September,” the Meteorological Department said in its most recent forecast advisory. It also mentioned the probability of “heavy rainfall” in Telangana over the following three days and in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka till September 10.

“Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 09th – 12th; Odisha on 08th & 09th September,” according to a news release from IMD dated September 6.
IMD reported that till September 13, there might be “heavy rainfall” in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. It also added that until September 10, similar weather could be seen in Odisha and Jharkhand. Arunachal Pradesh from September 10 to 12, West Bengal from September 9 to 12, and Bihar from September 7 to September 10 may get significant rainfall.

Rajasthan is expected to get strong showers today, while Uttarakhand can experience strong rains on September 7, Uttar Pradesh on September 9 and 10, and Rajasthan through September 8.
