Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the principal rites at the historic occasion, which commemorates the temple’s dedication, on January 22, 2024.

After the Hindu calendar aligns, the historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event will be held on January 11, 2025. This holy day was commemorated last year on Kurma Dwadashi, which falls during the Paush month of the Hindu calendar’s Shukla Paksha. The Shukla Paksha falls on January 11 this year as a result.

Numerous cultural activities and spiritual gatherings have been planned on the temple grounds to mark the occasion.

Agnihotra with mantras from the Shukla Yajurveda will begin the day on January 11 and will be held twice, from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 8 to 11 a.m. Following it, the Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa will be recited, and the 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantra will be chanted.

‘Rag Seva’ will take place on the ground floor of the temple from 3 to 5 p.m., with a song of congratulations at 6 p.m. Likewise, the first level of the traveler convenience center will host the recital of Musical Manas.

At the ‘Angad Tila’ within the temple grounds, a Ram Katha is also scheduled, and a cultural performance and Manas discourse will follow.

On January 1, the first day of the year, more than 2 lakh devotees came to the temple to worship, according to the Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

On January 22, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the principal rites at the Lord Ram ‘Pran Pratishtha’ celebration. Following the ceremonies, the idol of Ram Lalla was revealed.

The ancient Nagara style was used in the construction of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. It measures 380 feet long (east-west), 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high. It is held up by 44 doors and 392 pillars in all.

The temple has elaborately carved representations of Hindu gods, goddesses, and deities on its walls and pillars. The childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, is located on the ground floor main sanctum sanctorum.

Ayodhya has been attracting thousands of devotees ever since Lord Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha ritual. Additionally, the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has seen a sharp rise in daily visits.
