This Maruti car got 5 star safety rating

At last, it has occurred! In Global NCAP crash testing, a Maruti Suzuki vehicle received a five-star safety rating. The forthcoming Dzire is the vehicle that will do this. Despite consistently adhering to the relevant safety regulations in India, Maruti Suzuki vehicles performed badly in Global NCAP’s safety evaluation tests.

Global NCAP awarded the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire five stars for adult occupant safety and four stars for child occupant protection. The vehicle will be introduced in India on November 11.

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire received 39.20 out of 49 points for kid safety and 31.24 out of 34 points for adult safety. For voluntary testing, Maruti Suzuki sent the Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 to Global NCAP.

In 2024, Maruti Suzuki has increased its emphasis on vehicle safety. Six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and pedestrian protection are standard on the 2017 Dzire. These safety measures are standard on even the new Swift, which went on sale in May.

In addition, the 2024 Dzire is equipped with standard Isofix mounts, a three-point seatbelt for every seat, ABS with EBD, braking assist, and a rear defogger. Forty-five percent of the car’s construction is composed of high-tensile steel. The most recent Heartect platform (fifth generation) serves as its foundation.

The footwell size and construction of the Dzire 2024 were deemed stable by Global NCAP. “In the frontal test, the driver dummy’s chest showed just a little protection. Full protection for the adult passengers was shown by the side impact test and the pole test, according to Global NCAP.

All automobiles are evaluated for frontal impact protection, side impact protection, and side pole impact protection using the Global NCAP crash test methods.

The new Z12E 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine, which powers the 2024 Swift as well, is the engine at the core of the 2024 Dzire. It has a maximum power output of 81.58PS and a peak torque of 111.7Nm. Five-speed MT and five-speed AMT are the available gearbox choices.

LED Crystal Vision headlamps with LED DRLs, LED rear combination lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, boot lid spoiler, 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera, Arkamys surround sense, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, electric sunroof, rear air conditioning vents, rear armrest, and Suzuki Connect are just a few of the features that the new Dzire has to offer.

We anticipate that the ex-showroom pricing of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire would range from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. The vehicle will compete with the Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze, and Hyundai Aura.
