This decision was taken in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of Rajya Sabha

According to official sources, it was resolved in the Rajya Sabha‘s Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting on Tuesday to set aside twelve hours for the House to address Constitution Day.

Additionally, it was agreed that time would be allotted based on each party’s strength.

According to official sources, the opposition and the Bharatiya Janata Party will each have six hours.

Every year on November 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inspires and guides the celebration of Constitution Day, which honors the principles of India’s distinctive Constitution, which was established on this day in 1949.

Notably, the Constitution was adopted 75 years ago this year.

The Prime Minister’s inspiration led to the nationwide celebration of Constitution Day during Amrit Kaal, with the theme “Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman.”

The Preamble of the Constitution was recited by the chief minister, ministers, MLAs, officials, chief secretary Raj Kumar, and senior secretaries as part of Gandhinagar’s Constitution Day celebrations, which were led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Constitution has met all of the nation’s needs and expectations during his participation in the Supreme Court event earlier on Constitution Day.

PM Modi expressed great delight in the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. On the occasion, he paid homage to the Constitution and the Constituent Assembly members.

According to him, creating a Viksit Bharat is the only objective of every citizen.
The Prime Minister said that it is important to remember that today was also the anniversary of the Mumbai Terror Attacks while commemorating Constitution Day.

He offered condolences to the terror attack victims. The Prime Minister reaffirmed that India would respond appropriately to any terrorist group that jeopardizes India’s security and integrity.
