The trailer of ‘Paatal Lok 2’ is out
The second season trailer for ‘Paatal Lok’ was released by the show’s creators on Monday.
An intriguing look at a gripping criminal thriller that takes underdog inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary to new heights is provided by the teaser for Paatal Lok Season 2. The film, which is set in Nagaland, shows Hathi Ram as he joins forces with Imran Ansari, his trusty partner, to continue his unwavering quest for the truth by fighting social evil and systemic forces.
Hathi Ram must negotiate a labyrinth of secrets while battling his own personal demons after being assigned to look into the disappearance of a migrant worker connected to a violent drug ring.
“Paatal Lok Season 1 was a milestone in my career, and the overwhelming love it received still humbles me,” Jaideep said in a press release, expressing his excitement at returning as Hathi Ram. More than merely a fictional figure, Hathi Ram Chaudhary resonated with millions of people throughout the globe and became a mirror reflecting the complexity of mankind and society. We go much farther into Hathi Ram’s mind in Season 2.

Ishwak Singh will return in the next season, along with newcomers Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag. Sudip Sharma is the creator and executive producer of the eight-episode series, which is produced by Clean Slate Filmz in collaboration with Eunoia Films LLP. The show, directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware, will debut on Prime Video on January 17.

The series’ first season, which debuted in May 2020, received accolades for its unvarnished depiction of Indian culture and its gripping narrative. It presented viewers with the ethically nuanced universe of Jaideep’s portrayal of Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary.
