The teaser of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ is out
Mumbai: “Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh,” starring Akshay Kumar, has released its trailer. The events that transpired after the devastating Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919 are the focus of the Karan Singh Tyagi-directed movie.

With 30 seconds of just sound—no images, logos, or title—the teaser, which was released on Monday, adopts a different strategy. It depicts the agonizing cries of victims and bereaved families, with voices begging, “Please stop for God’s sake,” “The doors are locked,” and “Save yourselves Jump into the well.”
A terrifying caution is also included in the teaser: “These visuals are too horrific to display.”

“Don’t forget that you’re still a slave to the British Empire” is a dramatic voiceover that appears later in the teaser.
On April 18, 2025, the movie—which also features Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan—will be released in theaters.
India’s leading lawyer, C. Sankaran Nair, who battled the British Raj to learn the truth about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, is the subject of the movie.
‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is not the only movie that Akshay Kumar has planned. ‘Jolly LLB 3,’ which is scheduled for release on September 19, 2025, will include him.
In addition, he is working on Priyadarshan’s horror-comedy “Bhooth Bangla.” After a lengthy separation, Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar reunite in the movie. Among their prior successful productions are Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
In important roles in Bhooth Bangla are Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Balaji Telefilms, which is owned by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R. Kapoor, and Cape of Good Films, which is produced by Akshay Kumar, are the producers of Bhooth Bangla. On April 2, 2026, the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters.
