The budget session of Parliament will begin again today
New Delhi: The Lok Sabha will assemble on Thursday as the Budget Session of Parliament resumes. The Lok Sabha will meet again on March 19 after being postponed on Tuesday.
The Lok Sabha will meet again at 11:00 am to examine important legislative issues, including the presentation and debate of many standing committee reports, in accordance with the agenda.

Congressman Gaurav Gogoi and BJP MP Kiren Rijiju will make the motion “That this House do agree with the Eighth Report of the Business Advisory Committee presented to the House on March 19, 2025.”
In addition to continuing to examine cut motions (printed on a separate list) introduced on March 18, 2025, the House will continue to debate and vote on the Ministry of Jal Shakti’s 2025–2026 Grant Demands.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare’s funding requests for 2025–2026 will also be discussed and put to a vote by the parliament.
Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav and BJP MP Jagdambika Pal will deliver the Committee on Public Accounts’ (2024–25) findings.
The findings of the Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology (2024–25) will be presented by BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey and Anil Baluni.
The Second Report of the Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas (2024–25) on Grant Demands (2025-26) of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is presented by NCP MP Sunil Dattatray Tatkare and BJP MP Janardan Singh Sigriwalto.
The Fifth Report of the Standing Committee on Coal, Mines and Steel on Demands for Grants (2025-26) pertaining to the Ministry of Mines will be presented by BJP MP Anurag Thakur and BJP Manna Lal Rawat.
The Standing Committee on Commerce’s findings will be placed on the table by BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal and TMC MP Yusuf Pathan.
The second round of Parliament’s budget session started on March 10 and will last until April 4.
