Ten people died in a collision between a truck and a tractor trolley in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh
Mirzapur: In this area of Uttar Pradesh, early on Friday morning, a truck struck a tractor trolley, resulting in ten fatalities and three injuries, according to the police.
Superintendent of Police (Mirzapur) Abhinandan said that the event happened at approximately one in the morning on G T Road, which runs between Kachhawan and Mirzamurad on the boundary between Mirzapur and Varanasi.
“The truck that had gotten out of the driver’s control struck the tractor trolley from behind while it was transporting thirteen laborers back from construction work in the Bhadohi district,” the SP said.
The SP and other senior cops raced to the spot to supervise the rescue efforts after being notified.
The official added, “Of the 13 injured, 10 died, and the other three were taken to the IIT-BHU hospital, where their condition is stated to be normal.”
According to Abhinandan, police have transported the remains to the morgue.
He stated that there is a case open at the Kachhawan police station, and further legal action is being taken.
According to the officer, authorities are looking into the events leading up to the collision in great detail.
