Telangana: Van carrying 60 devotees overturned in Adilabad, several injured

Adilabad: According to police, a vehicle carrying around 60 worshippers on their way to a temple capsized on a ghat road close to Malepur hamlet in the Narnoor district, injuring several people.

The wounded devotees, who were all from the Suryaguda hamlet, were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to the police.

The vehicle toppled on Sunday while traveling via the Ghat Road, according to the sub-inspector from the Narnoor Police Station. At the moment, we are looking into the matter and helping the wounded.

A traffic collision near Suryapet’s Venkateshwara Engineering College on Saturday claimed the lives of at least two individuals and wounded four more.

A private bus traveling from Guntur to Hyderabad collided with another vehicle from behind at approximately two in the morning.

Overspeeding was the cause of the collision, according to the Suryapet police.

The police station inspector in Suryapet said, “An accident occurred around 2 am this morning near Venkateshwara Engineering College in Suryapet, where a private travels bus travelling from Guntur to Hyderabad collided with another bus from behind due to overspeeding.”

“Three people were injured in the accident, two people died, and one is in critical condition,” police authorities said. The corpses have been sent to a postmortem examination (PME) center, and a complaint has been filed.
