Tejashwi Yadav criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not taking action against the BJP MLA

Patna: Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for failing to take action against a BJP MLA who allegedly urged Muslims to “stay indoors” during Holi. The RJD leader did not criticize the BJP MLA for his divisive remarks, instead claiming that the Chief Minister was in a “unconscious state.”

“A BJP MLA stated that Muslim brothers should not come out during Holi,” Yadav told reporters on Monday. Who is he to make such a claim, and where is the chief minister of the state? What state is he in? The CM does not hesitate to reprimand Dalit women and members of the lower castes when they bring up concerns about their safety and rights. Is the chief minister brave enough to reprimand this BJP lawmaker? He’s where? He’s unconscious right now.

According to him, “There is a lot of BJP and Sangh influence on JDU; pure Sangh aur BJP ke rang mein JDU aa chuka hai.” He said that the BJP has a significant influence on its NDA partner, JDU.

Yadav proclaimed Bihar to be a state that respects both Ram and Rahim, highlighting the state’s inclusive nature. He emphasized the people’s unity and said that the RJD will continue to defend the principles of the Constitution and Lalu Yadav’s philosophy, irrespective of political consequences.

“This nation is one that considers Rahim as well as Ram. In Bihar, four Hindu brothers defend a single Muslim. We will not allow them to accomplish their (BJP) objective until we have our party and those who support Lalu Yadav’s beliefs and the Constitution, regardless of whether we win or lose power,” Yadav said.

This follows controversy surrounding Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul, a BJP MLA from the Bisfi Assembly seat, who was accused of “appealing” Muslims to “stay indoors” on Holi, which falls on a Friday during Ramadan.

Tejashwi Yadav met with candidates for the BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam 3.0 earlier on Monday. The candidates have been demonstrating in Patna for more than 50 days.

Protesters are calling for a resolution to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) TRE 3.0 exam results anomalies, which caused applicants to worry about open positions and problems with the results announcement.

After meeting Tejashwi Yadav, candidate Ajay Mishra discussed his aspirations, saying, “We have a lot of expectations from him. He will undoubtedly comply with our requests. We’ll have to turn to the opposition if the governing party doesn’t listen. According to the constitution, we are upholding our demands. For the last fifty days, we have been demonstrating at Gardanibagh, but the government is not paying any attention to us. Tejashwi Yadav has promised to bring up our requests in the Assembly and do all in his power to see that they are met.

The BPSC TRE 3.0 test, for which 87,774 positions were posted, is the source of the current problem. Only 66,000 results were announced, however, leaving 21,000 openings unaccounted for. When aspirants saw that there were duplicates in the released results—one student was included on three distinct lists—they were very alarmed.

Another candidate, Vikram Kumar, clarified the circumstances: “We took the BPSC TRE 3.0 test. There were 87,774 open positions at the time; however, only 66,000 of them had results announced. The purpose for the 21,000 posts that were left is unknown. The findings of just 35,000 to 40,000 applicants were made public when we looked at the data for those 66,000 positions. The name of one student appears on three separate lists. Two positions will become available if that one student joins someplace. We insist on the publication of an additional outcome.

“For the past 49 days, we have been protesting in Gardanibagh,” Kumar said. We have not met any members of the governing party. We expect that Tejashwi Yadav would bring up our concerns on a supplementary result in the Vidhan Sabha, given his efforts over the last 17 months. We’re hoping that our request will be met.
