Tejashwi Yadav attacked the state government led by CM Nitish Kumar over the deteriorating law and order situation

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the state administration were criticized by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday for failing to maintain control over the worsening law and order situation. He said that kidnappings are common in Patna and that more than 200 rounds of gunfire are shot daily in Bihar.

“The state’s crime rate is rising daily. We have often said that more than two hundred rounds of gunfire are discharged in Bihar every single day. It occurs daily. In Patna, kidnappings are occurring all around. This is seen in several locations. In police detention, people are tortured. “No one answers it, and they die in custody,” Yadav added.

According to the opposition leader, the chief minister seems to be out of touch with the realities on the ground, and the administration has ignored the suffering of the people.

“The Chief Minister has nothing to do with it,” the RJD leader added, criticizing the government’s handling of the crisis.He just does what his superiors instruct him.

The remarks coincide with a wave of violent events that have occurred in the state. A criminal shooting incident was reported by Patna Police earlier today. According to Patna Police, the shooting happened Tuesday at approximately 2:00 pm in the Kankarbagh neighborhood of Patna.

“Outside a home, four criminals started shooting. All of the culprits fled to a neighboring residence after the shooting, according to Patna police. The Special Task Force (STF) and the police arrived at the scene after the event.

“The whole structure has been encircled by the military from all sides. Police said they were appealing to the culprits to turn themselves in.

All of the senior authorities, including the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Patna, were on the scene. According to Patna Police, the STF team is searching the whole region.
