Tamil Nadu: 23-year-old Pandi, an experienced acrobat from Alanganallur, died after being trampled by a bull during a Jallikattu event

Kalaignar: At a Jallikattu tournament at Kalaignar Stadium in Keelakkarai, close to Alanganallur, a 23-year-old Pandi, a seasoned bull tamer from Alanganallur, died after being gored by a bull, according to police.

Police claim that Pandi took part in many Jallikattu events. He sustained head injuries and was gored in the stomach while trying to control the event’s third bull.

After being sent to the government-run Rajaji Hospital for treatment, he passed away from his wounds. According to the authorities, the Alanganallur police have opened an investigation and filed a complaint.
