Stock Market Update: Today’s Indian stock market got off to a good start as the Sensex increased 236.13 points to 81,617.49 in early trading. There was also a surge in the Nifty 50, rising by 72.50 points to 25,036.75. Positive global signals and strong purchasing across key industries are credited with the gains. The majority of sectors are displaying strong momentum in today’s trading session, with gains being seen everywhere. But selling pressure is being applied to the FMCG, media, and pharmaceutical industries, which is causing their respective indexes to decline.

In relation to the US dollar, the rupee has dropped below 84.0700 and reached a new all-time low.

In line with increases in international markets, it was anticipated that the Indian stock market indexes will open higher on Monday. The Indian benchmark index had a rather promising start, based on Gift Nifty patterns.

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 81,381.36 after falling 230.05 points, or 0.28 percent, in tumultuous trading. It fell 307.26 points, or 0.37 percent, throughout the day to a low of 81,304.15. At 24,964.25, the NSE Nifty has dropped 34.20 points, or 0.14 percent. It dropped as low as 24,920.05.
