Staff Selection Commission CGL Exam 2024 : Today marks the start of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I Examination 2024 by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The Tier I test is scheduled to run until September 26.
The application period ran from June 24 to July 27, with an opportunity for corrections from August 10 to August 11. The goal of the hiring campaign is to cover 17,727 positions overall. Following the announcement of the final findings, the relevant user departments will verify the documents.
For unreserved applicants, the minimum passing score is 30%; for candidates from OBC and EWS, it is 25%; and for candidates from other categories, it is 20%. Furthermore, for unreserved candidates, the maximum permitted mistake rates (minimum qualifying requirements) are 20%; for OBC and EWS candidates, they are 25%; and for all other categories, they are 30%. The Tier II test is scheduled to take place in December 2024.
The government of India will appoint the successful applicants to Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in a variety of departments, ministries, and organizations in addition to statutory bodies, tribunals, and constitutional bodies. The examination announcement will specify how posts will be allocated, taking preference into account as well as merit.
Required Documents
The SSC CGL Admit Card, which acts as a permit for access into the test room, is required for all candidates. Make sure your printing is clear and includes your signature and picture.
A government-issued ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, driving license, or college ID, must be brought by candidates in both the original and a photocopy.
