Six people died in a fire incident at a private hospital in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu
Dindigul: According to the district superintendent of police in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, a fire accident at a private hospital on Thursday night claimed the lives of up to six individuals.
On Thursday night, a large fire at a private hospital in Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul district left over 20 people wounded and many more thought to be dead.
According to a senior official, more than ten ambulances and three fire engines were sent to rescue patients who were stuck inside the hospital in the Gandhi Nagar neighborhood close to the Dindigul-Trichy highway.
MN Poongodi, the Dindigul District Collector, claims that the patients have been saved and taken to other medical facilities.
“A private hospital experienced a fire. The district collector said that the patients had been saved and sent to both public and private hospitals in the area.
