Singer Shreya Ghoshal offered prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain
Ujjain: On Monday morning, singer Shreya Ghoshal was seen praying at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
The diva was seen participating in the morning aarti rites at the shrine. She recently captivated the crowd with her performance during the IPL 2025 opening ceremony.
Wearing a blue saree, Ghoshal sat close to the Pooja area, taking in the temple’s meditative ambiance.
The priests gave her prashad and aarti after the ceremonies.
One of Lord Shiva’s twelve Jyotirlingas, the Mahakaleshwar Temple, is highly revered and draws followers from all across the nation.
Following her thrilling performance at the IPL 2025 opening ceremony, when she mesmerized the audience with her popular songs, including “Mera Dholna” and “Kar Har Maidan Fateh,” Ghoshal is visiting the temple.
She also sang “Vande Mataram,” which gave the occasion a nationalistic feel.
