Shortly after Aishwarya Rai married Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta and Jaya Bachchan were called to advise her on marriage. In the second season of Koffee With Karan, the mother-daughter team made an appearance together. Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol joined them. Host Karan Johar invited them to advise Aishwarya during the fast-fire round.
Shweta said in a Reddit clip from the program that Aishwarya doesn’t need marital counseling. “She is flawless; I don’t see why we should give her anything.” She also has a great deal of patience, which will truly test her. “She’s alright; she doesn’t require any guidance,” Shweta said.
“She should continue being as loving and dignified as she is,” Jaya continued.

2007 saw the marriage of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. The two have been pals for a while, having collaborated on movies together like Kuch Naa Kaho (2003) and Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000). Their relationship took off when they were shooting Umrao Jaan in 2005–2006, and it reached even greater heights while they were working on Guru and Dhoom 2. On April 20, 2007, they tied the knot in a lavish yet personal ceremony.
Following their nuptials, Amitabh said in an interview that Abhishek had asked Aishwarya to marry him in the US. It’s clear that Abhishek and Aishwarya adore one another. After the Guru premiere in New York, Abhishek contacted me to tell me he had proposed to her. Come on home, I said. I inquired about Aishwarya’s happiness. Yes, she replied.
