Under the Ministry of Rural Development’s auspices, the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) is organizing the month-long campaign, which will go on till December 23 throughout all Indian States and Union Territories. This program reflects the values of Jan Andolan and is run by DAY-NRLM’s vast network of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

Nayi Chetna 3.0 aims to increase awareness of gender-based violence in all its manifestations, empower local institutions to take decisive action against violence, empower communities to speak out and demand action, and provide access to support networks for prompt aid.
“Ek Saath, Ek Awaaz, Hinsa Ke Khilaaf,” the campaign’s motto, reflects the appeal for collaborative action via convergence efforts, taking a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach.
