“India is rejecting entitled monarchs and their bootlicking ecosystem that pretends to champion meritocracy and democracy,” he said.

This follows stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra’s recent stand-up comedy on YouTube, in which he allegedly made offensive statements against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

After stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra’s comments went viral, Shiv Sena employees vandalized the Habitat Comedy Club in Khar on Sunday. In response to the scandal, Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske said Kunal Kamra is a paid comic who is making remarks against the head of his party in exchange for cash.

The Shiv Sena MLA For his remarks, Murji Patel also filed a formal complaint against Kunal Kamra. Patel requested that Kunal Kamra face harsh consequences after filing a formal complaint at the MIDC police station.

Additionally, he asked Kamra to apologize within two days. Patel asked the state home minister to take strong measures against him and stated that he will bring up the matter in the assembly.

Kunal Kamra’s remarks against our leader and Maharashtra’s DCM, Eknath Shinde, have prompted us to submit a formal complaint against him. We’ve called for prompt action against him. I would want to inform him that Shiv Sainiks would not let him travel freely in Mumbai until he apologizes to Eknath Shinde within two days. We’ll paint his face black if he’s seen in public. Murji Patel told ANI on Sunday, “We will bring up this matter in the assembly and ask our state’s home minister to issue an order against him as soon as possible.”

Kamra used a song to make her thoughts in a stand-up comedy video that was shared on the social networking site X.
