Shilpa Shetty gave a special birthday wish to Sushmita Sen

On Tuesday, Sushmita Sen will celebrate her 49th birthday, and B-town celebrities have been sending well wishes to the actress.
Shilpa Shetty was one among the several celebrities who sent the former beauty queen their love and blessings.

Shilpa Shetty posted a photo of herself and Sushmita from their past together on her Instagram Story. She sent a cute note with the photo.

Along with a lovely photo of Sush, actor Rakul Preet Singh also sent a heartfelt message for Sushmita on her Instagram Story.

In 1994, at the age of 18, Sushmita became the first Indian to win the title of Miss Universe, making history.

With ‘Dastak’ in 1996, Sushmita made her Bollywood debut after her victory in pageants. She then appeared in films such as “Main Hoon Na,” “Biwi No. 1,” and “Aankhen.”

In addition to her acting career, Sushmita is respected for her self-reliance and bravery, which include her choice to adopt two girls as a single mother, Renee and Alisah.

Sushmita, on the other hand, recently stole the show at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024, when she walked the catwalk as designer Rashi Kapoor’s showstopper.

The former Miss Universe epitomized current Indian fashion by showcasing her grace and confidence in a stunning white ivory saree embellished with sequins and worn with a beautiful strapless top.

Sushmita’s most recent professional appearance was in the critically praised television series “Aarya,” which was nominated for an International Emmy.
