Security forces bust new Pak-based terror group in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir: According to sources, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir busted a new terrorist group on Tuesday that they thought to be a branch of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
According to the sources, the J&K police’s Counter-Intelligence Wing (CIK) carried out a significant operation that included searches in many districts, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kulgam, Budgam, Anantnag, and Pulwama.
The dismantling of ‘Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim’ (TLM), an organization thought to be a branch of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), is reported by the police.
Officials added that “Baba Hamas,” a terrorist handler from Pakistan, was allegedly running the group.
They said that the raids are still in progress and that further information is anticipated.
