Sanjay Seth launched a scathing attack on Delhi CM Atishi over her comment on Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Ujjain: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi came under fire from Union Minister of State Sanjay Seth on Friday for her previous remarks on Union Agricultural Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, which he described as “those of a terrorist.”
Atishi’s comments against the Union Agricultural Minister were denounced by Seth, who said that such language was unfit for a leader of her caliber.
“The Chief Minister of Delhi spoke in terroristic terms yesterday.” It is not healthy for our democracy to use derogatory language against a senior politician such as Shivraj Singh Chouhan. “She should use words appropriately because she is the CM,” Seth added, adding that labeling someone a terrorist is a terrible reflection on their mindset.
Seth emphasized that one’s character and style were reflected in such words and behavior.
“It reveals your mindset if you call someone a terrorist. We all agree that democracy is powerful; today, when someone speaks, it’s their attitude, their words, their mannerisms, their personality, and their face. The Union Minister of State said, “We are all committed to serving Mother India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of a developed India by 2047.
Following Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s accusation that the AAP government was denying the national capital’s farmers access to central schemes, Atishi launched a counterattack against the BJP government, claiming that the state of farmers has never been “as bad as” it was under BJP rule.
In a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, Chouhan said that the federal government was prepared to provide farmers access to the benefits of central initiatives, but the Delhi government had not fulfilled the necessary conditions.
He said that farmers in the capital were unable to benefit from these programs since the Center “had not received any proposals” from the Delhi administration.
In his letter, Chouhan also said that the AAP administration in Delhi was obstructing the Center’s farmer welfare programs, labeling its actions “anti-farmer” and “anti-agriculture.”
The Union Minister said that he had previously brought up the farmers’ concerns in Delhi, but the Delhi administration had failed to “resolve the problems.”
The BJP administration was then criticized by Atishi, who said, “BJP talking about farmers is like Dawood preaching on non-violence.”
“Never before have farmers’ circumstances been so dire as they were under the BJP. Tell Modi ji to speak with the Punjabi farmers who are on a hunger strike. Don’t politicize problems affecting farmers. During BJP administration, farmers were subjected to bullets and lathis,” she said.
