Sanjay Raut took a dig at Mahayuti, said something like this
Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), made fun of the Mahayuti coalition in Maharashtra, which is headed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Saturday by suggesting that they could build an EVM shrine and bring out a parade of EVMs.
He suggested that the erection of an EVM shrine in front of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur be announced during the first cabinet meeting.
The Chief Minister’s march would be carried out there (in Nagpur) first. In a news conference held here, Raut said, “I believe that they should remove a procession of EVMs before the CM’s procession is removed. In the first cabinet, they should decide to build a temple of EVMs in front of RSS Headquarters.”
The MP representing the Shiv Sena (UBT) also criticized the newly established administration for its inability to choose cabinet members. Raut said that rapes and killings were occurring in Maharashtra, causing chaos in the state.
“This state’s new administration was founded a month ago, but it is unclear which department is in charge of what. The chief minister is unable to respond to the daily murders and rapes that occur in Maharashtra’s countryside. Maharashtra has becoming anarchic. They don’t have a brain; they have EVMs in their heads, which is how this government was established,” Raut said.
Devendra Fadnavis, the chief minister of Maharashtra, said on Thursday that the figures were higher than anticipated. Speaking at the Times Network-hosted India Economic Conclave.
According to Fadnavis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s catchphrase, “Ek hai toh safe hai,” performed “magic” in the state.
I was aware that they (Mahayuti) would win the elections, but if that is what we are anticipating, I will claim that I was aware that the BJP would take 132 seats. However, this is incorrect; he was unaware that we would take a significant number of seats. After winning 132 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Fadnavis said, “We got higher numbers than we expected.”
Fadnavis was sworn in as Maharashtra’s chief minister on December 5, while Ajit Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and Eknath Shinde, the leader of the Shiv Sena, were sworn in as deputy chief ministers.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Mahayuti coalition won a resounding victory with 235 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024. With 132 seats, the BJP became the single-largest party, marking a major turning point in the election. With 57 and 41 seats, respectively, the Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party also saw significant increases.
