Sandhya Theatre Incident: Actor Allu Arjun walked out of Hyderabad Central jail this morning after getting interim bail
Sandhya Theatre Incident: After being granted temporary release in the Sandhya theater incident, actor Allu Arjun left Hyderabad Central Jail this morning after spending the night there.
A lower Telangana court sentenced actor Allu Arjun to 14 days in judicial detention. The Telangana High Court heard an appeal to the decision and granted him bail after he provided a bond of Rs 50,000. The actor was freed this morning after spending the night in prison.
The Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad was heavily guarded before he was released.
Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, also visited the prison to greet him.
Despite receiving bail, Allu Arjun’s attorney, Ashok Reddy, was upset that the actor was not permitted to leave the house at night.
According to Ashok Reddy, “They received an order copy from the High Court, but despite that, they didn’t release the accused (Allu Arjun)…they will have to answer…this is illegal detention; we will take legal action…as of now he has been released.”
On December 4, Allu Arjun went to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad to see a screening of his latest film, Pushpa 2. This is when the event occurred.
Huge crowds had come to see the celebrity. According to police, Revathi died and her kid was hurt as a result of the actor’s conduct. The authorities claim that the actor’s actions caused the sad tragedy, which happened when fans raced to witness the movie star arrive at the theater.
“He arrived at the theater, emerged from his car’s sunroof, and began waving to the people in the crowd. Many people were drawn to the theater’s front gate by this gesture. According to the cops, his private guards began shoving people aside to make room for his car at the same moment.
“Allu Arjun stayed inside the theater for more than two hours after his crew was asked to take him back, citing a large public gathering, but they chose not to follow through. Consequently, it is evident that there was a sufficient police bandobast in place; his actions were what caused this regrettable occurrence,” the police said.
A number of political figures have already denounced the actor’s imprisonment, including Union Minister Ashwini Viashnaw, Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KTR, and others. Several movie stars, including Varun Dhawan and Rashmika Mandanna, have voiced their support for Allu Arjun.
At the film’s success meet on December 7, the actor also shared his astonishment at the occurrence and promised to provide financial support to the family of the dead lady.
“It is very regrettable what happened at the Sandhya theater…I am astonished. Processing it and reacting to the issue takes hours. I was unable to mentally absorb it. I spent around ten hours on it. The ‘Pushpa’ actor has previously said, “When we heard the news, we all went blank.”
