Sambhal: District Judge Court issues notice to Rahul Gandhi over his statement “fight against Indian state”
Sambhal: In response to a complaint against him for saying, “Our fight is not against BJP or RSS, but against the Indian state,” the District Judge Court of Sambhal on Thursday sent notice to Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, to either answer or appear on April 4.

Advocate Sachin Goyal told the media in a report on Thursday that the court had received the allegation and had sent Gandhi a notice telling him to either come to court on April 4 or respond.
Rahul Gandhi, the Congress politician and leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, said on January 15, 2025, that “We are now fighting the BJP, the RSS, and the Indian State itself.” In order to make a formal complaint against Rahul Gandhi, Simran Gupta filed a case at the special MP/MLA court. Advocate Goyal said, “The CJM had quashed it on the grounds of jurisdiction.”
“We filed a revision petition against that order, and the District Judge Court of Sambhal issued a summon to Rahul Gandhi to appear in court on April 4,” he said.
Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP earlier on January 15 when he opened the party’s new headquarters, “Indira Bhawan,” and said that the Congress and other opposition parties were battling not just the BJP but the Indian state as a whole.
“Our philosophy has been in conflict with the RSS ideology for thousands of years, much as the RSS ideology itself. Don’t believe that our battle is fair. This is not fair at all. You haven’t grasped the situation if you think we’re battling a political group such as the BJP or RSS. Every single institution in our nation is under the control of the BJP and the RSS. We are now engaged in combat with the Indian State, the BJP, and the RSS,” he said.
“Whether our institutions are operating or not is unknown to us. The actions of the media are rather obvious. He said, “Even people are aware that the media is no more fair and free.
