Salman Khan’s security increased after Baba Siddiqui’s murder
Salman Khan’s security has been bolstered after the assassination of senior NCP politician and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui. Two people from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have been detained by the police in connection with the death, which has rocked political circles and been connected to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. The attackers reportedly lived in Mumbai for a few months while scouting out Baba Siddiqui’s whereabouts. According to preliminary inquiries, Siddiqui’s close relationship with Salman Khan may have served as a driving force behind the murder, among other things.
SRPF deployed outside the actor’s house
The Maharashtra government has declared that Salman Khan already has enough security coverage in place, even though they have not yet verified the veracity of these allegations. Mumbai Police has now sent an escort car to accompany the actor’s official vehicle in reaction to the increased threat, and the Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) is stationed outside the actor’s homes in Bandra and Panvel.
Apart from that, Navi Mumbai police yesterday increased security at Salman Khan’s Panvel property. The actor now travels with a police escort car and is accompanied at all times by a qualified policeman who is proficient with all weapons thanks to Y-plus security.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has threatened Salman Khan with murder and views him as a target. A few gang members were also detained by the police earlier this year when they opened fire outside Khan’s Mumbai home.
For the Saturday night murder of Baba Siddiqui, three Lawrence Bishnoi gang members have been taken into custody so far. After assuming responsibility for the murder via a Facebook post, Praveen Lonkar, the brother of gang member Shubham Lonkar, was arrested for the third time in Pune.
NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot on Saturday night outside the Bandra East office of his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique. When he arrived at Lilavati Hospital, medical professionals pronounced him dead. According to investigations, the assailants had been observing the region for a period of 25 to 30 days before the assault.
