Rekha Gupta will take oath as Chief Minister today at a ceremony at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital
New Delhi: On February 20, Rekha Gupta will take the oath of office as Chief Minister at a ceremony in the nation’s capital’s Ramlila Maidan. Parvesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj Singh, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh are the other ministers who will take the oath of office at the swearing-in event.

She will be Delhi’s fourth female chief minister, carrying on a legacy that has proven challenging for other regions of the nation to emulate. The Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress, and the BJP have all had female chief ministers in Delhi. She will be Atishi’s successor.
Rekha Gupta, an elected Member of Parliament from Shalimar Bagh, has been a member of the national executive committee of the BJP Mahila Morcha and its general secretary in Delhi. In these capacities, she spearheaded a number of programs to improve the lives of women and underprivileged communities.
“I will stand up to his expectations,” Rekha Gupta said, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party leadership for believing in her.
PM Narendra Modi has a great deal of trust in me, a regular party worker and daughter. I’ll live up to his standards. I want to express my gratitude to PM Narendra Modi and the party leadership for having such great trust in me as a regular person and giving me such a significant job. Gupta said, “My story can serve as an inspiration to all women, showing that a typical middle-class woman can also be given the opportunity to rise to the top leadership of the party.”
She had previously said that the city’s golden age was about to begin and thanked the Delhi residents for picking and supporting her.
The function will be attended by NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Ministers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other Union Ministers.
Rekha Gupta, the Delhi chief minister-designate, and her new cabinet members are now getting ready for their oath-taking ceremony. At Ramlila Maidan, security is provided by Delhi Police, RAF (Rapid Action Force) troops, and NSG (National Security Guard) commandos. At 12:15 p.m., the newly elected administration will be sworn into office.
After 27 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is establishing a government in the nation’s capital.
In the assembly elections earlier this month, the BJP secured 48 of the 70 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party was only able to get 22 seats. For the third consecutive election, Congress was unable to open its account. Opposition parties have criticized the BJP for the “delay” in forming a new government after the results of the assembly election were announced on February 8.
