Rekha Gupta: If I become the Chief Minister, it will be a miracle for women, it will be a new inspiration and a new chapter

New Delhi: BJP leader Rekha Gupta said that her selection as Delhi’s chief minister-designate is a “miracle” and a “new chapter” that ushers in a revolutionary era for women in politics.

Gupta promised to make dishonest people responsible in an interview with the media, saying they would be held responsible for each rupee that was misappropriated.

“It is a fresh chapter, a new drive, and a miracle. There are opportunities for all women if I am able to serve as the CM. “Any corrupt individual will be required to provide an explanation for every rupee,” she said.
She also thanked the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party for entrusting her with the responsibility of running the nation’s capital.

It carries a great deal of responsibility. I am grateful to PM Modi and the top leadership of the BJP for believing in me. I promise to carry out my duties with the highest integrity. The fulfillment of all the promises made by our party is my top priority, followed by the cooperation of all 48 MLAs under Modi. Rekha Gupta said, “I never imagined that I would be the chief minister of Delhi.”

Today, at Ramilia Maidan in New Delhi, Gupta will take the oath of office as Delhi Chief Minister.

She will serve as Delhi’s fourth female chief minister. The Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress, and the BJP have all had female chief ministers in Delhi. Atishi will be replaced by Rekha Gupta.

Rekha Gupta, an elected Member of Parliament from Shalimar Bagh, has been a member of the national executive committee of the BJP Mahila Morcha and its general secretary in Delhi. In these capacities, she spearheaded a number of programs to improve the lives of women and underprivileged communities.

After days of heated speculation about the potential pick, her name was revealed as the new chief minister of Delhi. On February 8, the Delhi assembly election results were announced.
