Reached Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial in Ahmedabad to attend AICC session with Sonia Gandhi

Ahmedabad: At the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial in Ahmedabad, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi arrive for the All India Congress Committee (AICC) session as the Congress begins the second day of its convention today.

The conference intends to address a number of national concerns, such as the increase in the cost of gas and diesel. On Wednesday, Congress MP Praniti Shinde made fun of the federal government by claiming that they could talk about problems that have been around for 300 years yet ignore Manipur, price increases, and unemployment.

There are a number of problems, such as rising fuel and diesel prices. They (Centre) only discuss topics that have existed for three hundred years. Nobody is discussing price increases, Manipur, unemployment, or farmers. All they want to do is split the nation. Shinde told reporters, “The BJP is spreading poison throughout the nation.”

Congress politician Pawan Khera, meanwhile, attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly engaging in “appeasement politics” against the Congress, claiming that his party consistently practised “santushtikaran” for all societal segments.

“Santushtikaran ka kaam kiya hai ne har warg ke santushtikaran kaam kabh nahi kiya,” the day the prime minister realises that all societal segments have been pleased by the Congress. Appeasement has never been its practice. Maybe he’ll learn how to manage the government then,” Khera told the media.

Congress leader PL Punia emphasised the party’s resolve, which gives Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s blueprint first priority.

After a 64-year hiatus, the AICC is returning to Gujarat with its 84th National Convention, which will take place in Ahmedabad from April 8 to 8–9.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, and Sonia Gandhi, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), attended the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, which is scheduled to finish today.

Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the party leader, were among the other prominent Congress figures who attended the conference.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the BJP harshly at the CWC meeting in Ahmedabad, claiming that the party is causing “communal division” and deflecting attention from the nation’s fundamental problems.

Kharge said, “Communal Division is being used now to deflect attention from the nation’s fundamental problems. The Oligarchic Monopoly, on the other hand, is working to seize control of the government by seizing the nation’s riches.

The president of the Congress said that there is a “conspiracy” going on in the country involving a number of national icons, including the bilateral relationship between Sardar Vallabhai Patel and former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

The party shall follow Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s course, according to a resolution agreed upon by the CWC. In a social media post on X, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal released a copy of the resolution.
